With summer in full swing at last, and one which looks really promising weather wise, this summer is shaping up to be perfect dress weather. Maybe you’re used to jeans and separates for your first choice - the past few summers haven’t been very dress friendly! Fortunately, there are plenty of beautiful styles and shapes to choose from. So let your limbs see the sun and feel the lightness and freedom that a dress gives you. Let’s take a look at four of our favourite styles and show you what we have in our Apples & Pears range.
White Purple Pansy Print Swing Dress
This shape draws attention to your neck and shoulders and with the defined waist and swing skirt which skims over hips creating movement when you walk. Cap sleeves show off bare arms and with wide armholes for comfort this is a perfect outfit for summer parties and evenings out. Made of cotton, so it’s cool and comfortable. This dress is hand-made and is one of a limited-edition collection. The print is reminiscent of the bar code design we’re all so familiar with, in black and white. Wrap dresses are great for showing off curvy figures. The wrap style means you can adjust it to suit you and the skirt is non- bulky. The fabric is heavy doesn’t crease and is easy to wash and quick to dry.
Crossover Orange Floral Print Shift Dress
This is a lovely classic dress for summer. The jersey fabric is cool and light and doesn’t crease easily making it a perfect choice to pack in your suitcase for holiday wear. Short sleeved and mid length it’s a perfect leisure dress, but for more dressed up occasions add high heels and maybe a jacket or blazer. The crossover detail at the bust creates a V-neck and with a tie at the waist making it adjustable for the perfect fit.
Vintage Blue Lemon Patterned Sun Dress
The vintage look is always a popular one for summer. Perfect for holiday wear the print is turquoise with large yellow and green lemons. Shaped on the bust and fitted at the waist, with a full skirt, it has wide straps and a sweetheart neckline, at the back is a shirred stretchy panel for a comfortable fit. The fabric is cool and crisp cotton. Perfect for weddings, parties and evenings out.
